Operation Zero Nova

Ground Branch will infiltrate Golem Island to break an enemy communications program before it reaches operational use. The raid centers on disabling SATCOM control infrastructure, clearing a QRF anchor point at Forgotten Sanctuary, and demolishing the heliport shipment tied to the same advanced communications network.

Enemy forces on Golem Island are close to fielding a new communications capability with strategic implications beyond the island. The operational backbone is split between the satellite control infrastructure, a quick-reaction element staged at Forgotten Sanctuary, and a heliport shipment supporting continued technology expansion.

The terrain favors covert movement through dense forest and maintenance access routes. The mission depends on hitting each site fast enough to prevent the communications network from hardening or repositioning once the first target goes dark.

  1. Insert Depart Wild Island Bivouac by Overseer helo, hold above 1500 meters, and HALO northwest of the Alpha target.
  2. Alpha Cut power in the underground server area and communications building to disable the satellite dish control center and seize any COMTEC intelligence.
  3. Bravo Eliminate the QRF detachment at Forgotten Sanctuary and sabotage worthwhile targets of opportunity before advancing.
  4. Charlie Secure the heliport, demolish the shipment in and around the west warehouse, and capture LIZARD for turnover at the infil point.

Alpha is the mission’s decisive systems target. Power cuts at both the underground server area and the communications building are required to fully compromise the satellite control chain rather than just damaging surface equipment.

LIZARD is assessed as the enemy logistics specialist at the heliport. If no formal PID is possible, the HVT handoff still follows the roleplay brief: designate a captured hostile, move him to Bandit 1-2 at the infil point, then break for debrief at Erewhon.

The SATCOM control node is shut down, the sanctuary QRF is neutralized, the heliport shipment is destroyed before redistribution, and LIZARD is handed over alive, leaving the island’s communications program and logistics chain in immediate disarray.
