Operation Red Blanket

Fireteam CLEARWATER will HAHO into Lake Country to break a Sentinel interrogation dragnet, rescue CIA operative LANTERN at Two Lakes Residences, and then secure two contested Skell cyber sites before enemy forces can seize or exfiltrate the encrypted data stored there.

Launch
Erewhon HQ after sundown
Insertion
HAHO jump to Site Hotel One, then foot movement
Priority
Protect LANTERN, preserve CYBINT, and deny Sentinel access
Finish
Extraction from Skell Security Operations after allied handoff

An undercover CIA operative, codenamed LANTERN, has been trapped at Two Lakes Residences after a Sentinel detachment sealed the area and began interrogations to identify whoever has been leaking troop movements to the rebels. The immediate opening task is to break that cordon, protect the operative, and get him equipped for independent extraction to Lima Romeo 2.

After the rescue, the mission pivots into a CYBINT denial operation. Both the Maintenance Area and Skell Security Operations hold highly sensitive AES-encrypted data that fell into OPFOR hands earlier in the day. The team carries the ST decryption key and must secure both access points long enough to back up the data and hand the sites to allied rebels.

  • Phase 1 HAHO into Site Hotel One, move on foot to Two Lakes Residences, and clear the interrogation zone before Sentinel can compromise or lift LANTERN.
  • Phase 2 Issue LANTERN a kit and let him extract independently, then push to the Maintenance Area and back up all UAV flight data from the hangar access point before calling in HYDRO to hold the site.
  • Phase 3 Seize Skell Security Operations, obtain RFID access to the server room on the south building's top floor, complete the data backup, hand security to LIQUID, and extract from the compound.

The CYBINT at Bravo and Charlie cannot be allowed to fall fully into enemy hands. Site control matters, but the mission-critical action is reaching the access points, backing up the data, and preserving custody until command can assess it.

Charlie is partially locked down. The server room sits on the top floor of the south building and requires RFID access sourced from personnel on-site before the backup can be completed.

If command wants the operation extended, intel recovered at Charlie can point to Sentinel lieutenant Alexander Peterson meeting at the Skell Security R&D Center east of the HAHO LZ. That branch becomes a live-capture follow-on, not part of the base completion state.

Alpha

Two Lakes Residences

Secure the area, identify LANTERN among the civilians, rescue him from the Sentinel sweep, and provide the kit he needs for extraction to Lima Romeo 2.

Bravo

Maintenance Area

Reach the hangar access point, back up all UAV flight data, and radio in rebel element HYDRO to assume compound security after the data pull.

Charlie

Skell Security Operations

Gain RFID access, reach the locked server room on the south building's top floor, back up the sensitive data, and hand the compound over to LIQUID before extraction.
