Operation Crusader

Team CRUSADER will execute a HALO insertion into West RA1 to finish the UAV-base takedown uncovered during Operation Neptune Spear. The force must silently remove the Outpost Red Ferret QRF before any alert can launch the drones, sabotage Assembly Hall Omega 02, shut down the Arrow Testing Zone, and exfil by flying the two captured gunships back to South Cape Station for allied use.

Lineage
Follow-up to Operation Neptune Spear, part 2 of the same strike sequence

Aerial ISR launched after Operation Neptune Spear confirmed two primary UAV launch and maintenance bases in West RA1. The mission priority is to sabotage those UAVs and render the supporting infrastructure unusable before Sentinel can launch them and break the strike window.

Outpost Red Ferret is the first problem because it houses a sizable QRF tasked to respond to emergencies at the western bases. If Alpha is compromised, the enemy may launch the UAVs immediately, which would prevent a full single-sortie destruction of the fleet.

CRUSADER inserts by HALO at the LZ south of Alpha, then moves on foot along the tacmap route using the ISR-recommended entry points. Alpha must remain covert for as long as possible. The Arrow Testing Zone should be approached from top to bottom as indicated on the tacmap, which is the safest route assessed during planning.

  • Phase 1Neutralize the Red Ferret QRF quietly and exploit any targets of opportunity before the UAV sites are alerted.
  • Phase 2Secure Assembly Hall Omega 02 and sabotage all UAVs and facility systems on site.
  • Phase 3Infiltrate the Arrow Testing Zone from the top-down approach, sabotage the facility, and use the two helicopters on site to return to South Cape Station.

Alpha cannot go loud early. If Red Ferret gets a warning out, the western UAV bases can launch their aircraft and destroy the chance to neutralize all platforms in one sortie.

ISR strongly recommends the marked infiltration points and a top-to-bottom entry through Arrow Testing Zone. That approach should be treated as the default unless contact forces a reroute.

Assembly Hall Omega 02 should be treated as a full sabotage target for UAVs and infrastructure. Civilian presence can be disregarded for roleplay at Bravo per the original mission note.

Alpha

Outpost Red Ferret

Eliminate the enemy QRF, preserve covert status as long as possible, and act on any targets of opportunity that could warn the western UAV sites.

Bravo

Assembly Hall Omega 02

Secure the hall and sabotage every UAV plus the supporting facility infrastructure so the site can no longer launch or maintain aircraft.

Charlie

Arrow Testing Zone

Infiltrate from the safer top-down route, sabotage the test facility, then fly the two helicopters on site back to South Cape Station and turn the gunships over to allied forces at the FOB.
